Work Smarter, faster and harder. Be proactive and Seng Mok (be alert). Have a positive mindset and be honest.

By simplifying complex tasks, and keep repeating them to get better. Practice makes perfect.

Sleep Well

Sleep 7 to 8 hours a night.

Sleep is vital for health but often neglected by many people. Having 8 hours of good sleep a day enables the body and mind to repair, refresh, reboot and be ready for the day.

When we sleep well, we are more alert/sengmok and able to work more productively with quality and make better decisions.

The Balance of 3 Healths

In life, we need to take care of the 3 "Healths". Physical Health, Mental Health and Financial Health. If we take care of only physical or financial health without the other two "healths", we are not healthy enough, as we're only one third 1/3 health.

Health Philosophies

Sit Less, Move More

Excessive and prolonged sitting can increase the risk of many chronic diseases. We must therefore move more to maintain a healthy weight and lose excessive body fat.

Health Philosophies

Practice the 5 Wells

Why do we fall sick and
How long do we take to recover?
Our bodies are capable of producing new cells and repairing damaged cells.
However, as we age, our ability to recover and fight bad viruses or bacteria will decline gradually.

New variants of viruses and bacteria emerge every day, while our immune system gets older and weaker every year.

We need to practise the Top Glove 5 Healthy Wells, especially Eat well and Sleep well every day to strengthen our immune system for healthy living until we are 120 years old.

Human Age, Years Estimated number of days required to recover from illness, minor injuries or bruises
30 5 days
60 90
10 days 20 days or more

The Tiger Story

Thumb
Year 1920 Year 2020 Growth rate (%)
Population Life expectancy
(Global average)
Population Life expectancy
(Global average)
Wild Tigers 80,000 17 years 3,900 10 to 15 years -95%
Humans 2 Billion 34 years 7.8 Billion 73 years +290%

Why has the population of tigers decreased?

  • Tigers don't go to school; Humans go to school.
  • Tigers don't learn as much as human does.
  • Tigers live alone; Humans live together in a group.

Key takeaways:

  • Human intelligence is important for survival and growth.
  • Knowledge and continuous learning are essential in life.
  • We must live with family/ in group, do not live alone.

2. Bacteria about 1,000 nm
3. Viruses about 100 nm

  • Bacteria are 10 times smaller than Human Cells
  • Viruses are 100 times smaller than Human Cells

Health Philosophies

Human Cell

The human body contains an average of 30 trillion human cells, with about 200 different types of cells. Besides that, we also have about 40 trillion good and bad bacteria, about 400 trillion good and bad viruses.

Everyday, about 200 billion body cells are produced. The human body is like a smart factory.
If we put in good food/raw materials consistently,
we will produce good body cells and be healthy.
If we produce good cells every day,
we can live up to 120 years.
Sick is not normal; healthy is normal.
